FlightStatus will help you find flight information from over 4250 airports worldwide, searching by airport, flight or route. If you search by airport for example, you pick the airport, the time period and the date. This is extremely useful if you’ve forgotten the exact details of your flight (or someone else’s) or have lost your itinerary information. It also provides access to flight information and has an easy to use search tool and trip saver to save information such as airline, flight number, departure date and time, confirmation number and arrival times. We would like it to offer a bit more, even if it’s only the ability to save hotel information in the trip section which seems like would be an easy add.

This app offers much of the same information at FlightTrack since they both use FlightStats as their source of flight information but we thought the flight information in this travel app was presented much more clearly and it makes better use of the iPhone’s unique screen features such as the landscape view and movements like swipes.
