With Air Sharing, you can connect your computer to your iPhone or iPod Touch over WiFi and transfer files either direction by simply dragging and dropping. View files in any of the large group of supported file formats, such as .pdf or Word documents, and use the pinching motion to zoom in and out on photos and documents. Air Sharing also supports landscape or portrait viewing orientations in all areas of the program.

The interface is very similar to using the Mac OS X Finder, with a folder and file browser that most people are familiar with. The interface is user-friendly, although there is help to understand the array of program options. The first time you run the app, a tutorial helps you become familiar with how it works.

Air Sharing has the option to disable the iPhone auto-lock, so you won’t lose the connection while copying files. It also has optional password protection for file security but at the same time allows guest access to a public folder.
