Shazam is a great app. Awesome for coming upon a song midway through and not knowing the artist, open up Shazam and seconds later you have your answer. My only dislike is that it doesn't give you the year the song/album was released. But you can

Very useful app. for finding well know music. Looking up the history of the bands is a real nice feature and is entertaining.
Don't try to find old 80's punk or underground however as the database is somewhat

Very fun app to play around with, amaze your friends. I have found a couple songs it could not classify or find though. I hope this technology expands and becomes more commonplace.

My satellite Radio does note support music info. I use this app daily when I hear a song that I like and want more info. My favorite is the link to the youtube video. Great App
