It is a common ritual for brides, once they become engaged to stock up on wedding magazine after wedding magazine looking for ideas and inspiration. Wedding Envi is a small, simple application that aims to eliminate paper waste and put all those wedding ideas into one place, your iPhone.

You can browse through pictures of gowns, dresses, rings, flowers, cakes, hairstyles and more. When you find an image you like just save it to show your wedding planner or mother-in-law. Although, the concept is a great idea, the application is simply a slideshow of all things wedding.

The images displayed on Wedding Envi are very high quality and everything we looked at was clear and easy to see.

Wedding Envi is organized by groups then into sub-groups specific to each wedding category. For example, the Cakes group includes several sub-groups including gallery, celebrity cakes, creative cakes, tier cakes and U.S. bakeries.

One of our favorite parts of Wedding Envi are the celebrity sections. The application has celebrity cakes, ceremonies and receptions.

Although Wedding Envi’s interface is easy to understand its organization could be better. In some categories there are multiple sup-groups with the same name like Gallery and Gallery 2 or Tier Cakes and Tier Cakes 2. Sometimes it feels like you really have to go digging through the application.

Wedding Envi uses online streaming content to display images; therefore, it does not work without a Wi-Fi connection. This is only a problem if the app is installed on an iPod touch; iPhone usually has constant access to the internet.

Wedding Envi was created by we-Envision which offers multiple “Envi” apps in several categories like travel, art and fun. Help and support to we-Envision is done only by forum. They do not have an email contact.
