Numerous studies have concluded that thin people track their weight, that way they can notice subtle changes in their weight and change their diet or exercise program if needed. This makes sense; it is far easier to lose five pounds than the 15 that you gained while you were unaware. Weightbot is a good tool for tracking your weight, BMI and weight gain or loss.
Weightbot is an extremely simple tool. It doesn’t track calories or exercise or offer nutrition tips, it’s simply a weight tracking tool. You enter information such as your height, weight and weight goal and the app tracks your weight and estimates BMI. You enter your weight once a day using an easy-to-use virtual scale.
Your weight information can be password protected and a variety of weight units are available. Tapbot plans to offer a data summary view in a future update, which provide information such as average weight loss per day or month.
Weightbot doesn’t provide numerous features but it does do what Tapbots claims. We think the planned upgrades will make this app even more useful and appealing. We should also mention that we like the fact that this app is available in 11 languages, making it useful worldwide.
