App Aims: Track Nutrition On The Go
Reviewer’s Comments
Restaurant Nutrition is loaded with tons of up-to-date nutritional information on food items served at many popular fast food and restaurant franchises, such as Chili’s, Arby’s, Burger King and Denny’s. We really found the information provided by the app to be enlightening and believe it can help people make better food choices when they’re eating on the go.
This app updates often and provides calories, fat, sodium, carbohydrate, fiber, sugar and protein information on many popular food items like the Big Mac for example—540 calories or Olive Garden’s Chicken Alfredo—1430 calories. Currently the app has around 40 restaurants in its database, including Del Taco, KFC, PF Changs, Schlotzkys’ and Dunkin’ Donuts.
The app tracks daily totals and items eaten and can do this for multiple users. It can also provide restaurant location information and maps. Another interesting and useful feature is that it allows you to search food items by calories or other parameters. For example, you can search by total carbohydrates if you like. This app can be used as a standalone app or with PHRNetwork.com.
We found Restaurant Nutrition to be extremely useful, easy to use and convenient. And it’s fast, so it can easily be pulled out in the drive thru or at the restaurant table to provide quick nutrition information to help you make better food choices.
