The iPhone app, iWeight Deluxe, is a tool to help you organize your dieting plans, track your weight and exercise. It also features dieting and stress management tips. Using the GPS capability of the iPhone, the app will help you find fitness centers around you. To use the app, you simply enter your current weight, goal weight, start date and goal date. The program saves this information and displays a countdown of the days until the goal date on its home page.

Features of iWeight include a calendar system in which the users can log their weight, amount of exercise achieved, water intake and a space for notes on the day’s activities. A tab featuring helpful tips on dieting, stress relief and other general health topics also comes with the application along with a tab that searches and lists the closest gyms to the user’s current location. Utilizing the iPhone’s integrated Maps and phone the app can provide directions from your current location to the gym as well as the ability to call the gym with one touch. Settings features allow you to lock the program by pass code for privacy and also allows all of your notes to be exported and emailed to an email address.

In all, this isn’t a bad program to keep your dieting and exercise trends organized and can be a useful tool for someone trying to lose or gain weight. We found the application useful overall in helping us keep a record of how much we exercised and on what days. Its format is fairly basic and we can see room for improvement mostly in the amount of detail in which the program could have to help better assist the user to be organized with his or her diet and exercise plans. At a price of only $0.99 though, iWeight Deluxe is well worth its cost if you are looking for a great way to organize your healthy lifestyle.
