Did you ever enjoy or maybe even still enjoy flying paper airplanes? Then this is the game for you. Rock, Paper, Airplane! puts you in control of your very own paper airplane. With an awesome retro 1950’s theme that includes some sweet music, this game is well worth the dollar you pay for it.

The app is meant to be simple: from the graphics to the game play. It’s even easy enough that children can play it. Rock, Paper, Airplane! is perfect to zoom through a break at work or on the road (just not while driving) and simply have a little fun. One particular feature we liked is that you can reverse the controls in the options menu if you prefer something a little different (or more challenging.) The game’s look is quite clever and the music is bubblegum perfect. This app is just the thing when you’re looking to have a little fun but when you need to get back to work simply close the app. The next time you load the game, just hit the continue button to start where you left off.

There are a few minor drawbacks. One of which is the depth-of-field (how close things really are). It can be a little tricky to tell if things are close or far away and even after some practice you crash into them a lot of times and trust us, we know. We did it over and over until we got better at judging distances. The other drawback is that the controls take some getting used to but they aren’t too tough once you’ve practiced a bit.

Spend a moment here and there playing Rock, Paper, Airplane! or devote hours trying to get to the top of the high score list—it’s fun no matter the time commitment. So if you’re looking for some cheap, simple fun to get you through the day or just to pass some down time at work, this is the app for you.
